My name is Cameron DeJong. I was born an raised in Ventura, CA.
Growing up I played every sport there was but my main focus was soccer. I played NCAA Division II soccer at San Francisco State University and California State University Monterey Bay. I also currently compete in the National Premier Soccer League and United Premier Soccer league with Oxnard Guerrero's.
My educational background consists of a Bachelors in Kinesiology Exercise Science from California State University Monterey Bay, an associates degree in General Arts and Sciences from Ventura College, American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer certification and I am currently in the process of obtaining my National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. I have experience in the fields of physical therapy, personal and group training, and coaching sports.
I began training with Coreathletics when I graduated from my university. Since starting, I have seen improvements in my overall athletic performance on the field and off. Physically I have become bigger, faster, and stronger which has given me an edge when playing on the field. I have also become mentally stronger from being pushed in my training at Coreatheltics and the utilization of Smartfit Technology.
Currently, I am working as a personal trainer and performance coach specializing in sports specific functional training programs for athletes while also playing semi professional soccer.
